I began my yoga journey several decades ago when I lived in South America. While in Chile, I had the amazing opportunity to take private hatha yoga classes taught in the middle of a fragrant eucalyptus grove. After practicing different styles of yoga over the years, I discovered Baptiste Power Vinyasa Yoga and experienced an immediate connection.
I completed my Baptiste Level One training in 2012 and Level Two in 2013, which, along with Art of Assisting, comprise my RYT-200 status with Yoga Alliance. In 2016, my teaching hours qualified me for the E-RYT designation as an experienced yoga instructor.
In addition to the Baptiste training, I received a 95 hour RCYT certification in children’s yoga from Global Family Yoga ® in 2014 and enjoy teaching family yoga workshops open to kids from five to 105. I also hold a certificate in Therapeutic Yoga for Children and completed Yin Yoga teacher training in the spring of 2014 and Meditation teaching training in the fall of the same year. Most recently, I became certified in prenatal and postnatal yoga in June 2016.
I'm a practicing attorney, the mother of two grown children and the grandmother of four budding yogis and I love to share yoga with everyone of all ages.
